A cracked or damaged windshield can affect your visibility, compromise your vehicle’s structural integrity, and reduce the effectiveness of important safety features.
At Creative Collision Oberlin, we provide professional windshield replacement services using quality materials and proven installation techniques to help keep you safely on the road.
Professional Windshield Replacement
When you bring your vehicle to Creative Collision Oberlin, our technicians carefully remove the damaged windshield while protecting the surrounding body panels and trim. Components such as the windshield wipers, cowl panel, and exterior moldings are removed to allow for a clean and precise installation.
After the damaged glass has been removed, we thoroughly clean the windshield opening and remove the old urethane adhesive to create the proper surface for the new windshield.
What We Replace

- RV and bus glass — Large-format glass replacement for recreational and commercial vehicles
Precision Installation
Before installation, the new windshield is carefully cleaned and prepared. A professional primer is applied to both the windshield and the vehicle’s frame to promote a strong, long-lasting bond.
Our technicians then apply a high-quality urethane adhesive and carefully position the new windshield to ensure proper alignment and an even fit. Once in place, firm pressure is applied around the entire windshield to create a secure seal that helps prevent air and water leaks while providing the strength required for safe vehicle operation.
Curing Process
After the windshield has been installed, all trim pieces, moldings, windshield wipers, and other components are reinstalled and inspected.
Although the replacement itself typically takes only a few hours, the adhesive requires additional curing time to reach its full strength. For this reason, we generally keep your vehicle for most of the day to ensure the urethane has cured properly before the vehicle is returned to you.
Allowing the adhesive to cure completely is an important part of the installation process, helping ensure your windshield is securely bonded and ready to perform as designed.
